Women of Destiny - To provide fellowship and the ministry of God’s Word that propels women to discover and fulfill their divine destiny. Through the fellowship and ministry of God’s Word, we will promote the development of women who are conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

 Women's Ministry Leader:  Leader, Sister Sheryl Foster, works to engage women in activities that encourage and develope their Christian potential.  She spearheaded the first ever women's conference at Abundant Harvest, "Everyday Living for the Christian Woman" in 2008.  She is the wife of the Pastor and mother of two.  Sister Sheryl has a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is gainfully employed in the social work field lending her gifts to help those who are most vunerable.

PURPOSE

GOAL

Through the fellowship and ministry of God’s Word, we will promote the development of women who are conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

AS WE FELLOWSHIP, WE WILL:

►Give women an opportunity to enjoy, interact, build and strengthen relationships with other women of God

►Provide a comfort zone by which women are free to express their needs and concerns

► Provide an atmosphere by which women of various economic, ethnic, social backgrounds are welcomed

►Nurture and foster the growth of virtuous women whose lives greatly impact the Kingdom of God

►Direct the focus of women on the vision and goal statement of Abundant Harvest Church

BY THE MINISTRY OF GOD’S WORD, WE WILL:

►Stimulate and encourage spiritual growth

►Sharpen one’s understanding of God’s Word

►Give practical application of Kingdom of God principles that will help women meet daily challenges while performing various roles such as wife, mother, sister, friend, daughter,  professional, etc…

►Encourage the maturation and development of leadership among Christian women who will impact the Kingdom of God for such a time as this

MEETING SCHEDULE

►The number of meetings will vary (up to six per year) with a focus on meeting the third Saturday of the month.

►Meetings may be moved to a Saturday other than the third as deemed necessary.

►Each meeting will have a topic to navigate discussion

►At least one social outing will be planned each year for networking and getting to know one another.
